Hydration System Storage

Here's a clever storage idea I stole from the new Evernew collabsible water bottle that you can apply to hydration bottles you probably already have. Not for everyone, but I like it.

Hi Jason, Any concerns with carry the Nalgene Canteen in your pack while full? I'm looking for something like this to carry some whiskey on a long trip and having a whiskey soaked pack would really suck.

Hi Jason
(I feel like I'm talking to myself). Well, I haven't had one leak yet and I often carry Jameson's with me. You could add a measure of protection by putting your whiskey-filled bladder in a ziplock. Or, store in in an outside pocket.

This is a great idea, Jason; thanks! I have several Platy bottles that are always unrolling and flopping around unless I use a rubber band to keep them rolled - and then, of course, the rubber band may fly off and disappear, or break. I'm going out today to get the cord and fix up all my Platys with this. You're an absolute gear genius, Jason! I've learned so much from your blog.
